
Vocational Programs
The Rotary Club of Deloraine sponsors two annual Vocational programs: a Tertiary Scholarship and a Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA)
Tertiary Scholarship
The Rotary Club of Deloraine annually invites students from the Deloraine and Westbury districts who are commencing Tertiary education, at either a university or TAFE, to submit applications for a Tertiary Scholarship. The Scholarship has value of $3000 and is funded by the Club. Applications for the 2026 academic year close 19th January.

​Written applications are required. Your application should outline your academic record, intended study program, future career plan, hobbies and community involvement. Supporting documentation may also be attached. Interviews of short listed applications will be held in late January and early February.

RYLA - Rotary Youth Leadership Awards
RYLA is a residential week-long seminar, usually held at Camp Clayton, Ulverstone, in May.
RYLA recognizes the leadership potential of young people and to enhance their skills by providing an opportunity for personal, professional and community development. RYLA is a leadership training program for young adults aged 18 to 30 years, conducted annually. Attendees are sponsored by their local Rotary Club.
