How to join the Rotary Club of Deloraine
Thank you for your interest in becoming a Rotarian. Rotary International (RI) is an association of individual clubs, with each club operating autonomously. We are always eager to hear from individuals interested in our mission and in joining a Rotary club.
Membership in a Rotary club offers a number of benefits, including:
effecting change within the community
advancing business and professional contacts
developing leadership skills
gaining an understanding of — and having an impact on — international humanitarian issues
Through Rotary International's service programs, a Rotary club can have a significant effect on the quality of life in its community. Rotary Foundation programs offer opportunities to form international partnerships that help people in need worldwide. Some 1.2 million Rotarians in 30,000 clubs in more than 160 countries make significant contributions to the quality of life at home and around the globe.
To enquire about joining, contact the Club Secretary at firstname.lastname@example.org, or call membership director Joanne Jones on 0417 307 163.
Friend of Rotary
Becoming a Friend of the Rotary Club of Deloraine allows those who share the Rotary ideals and objectives to participate in our activities without the responsibility of full membership.
You may be interested in this option simply because you don’t have sufficient time to set aside to join the Club, but you want to help in local fund raising and community service events as well as international projects.
Or you might simply like the idea of seeing how welcoming the Club is to new people without having to commit to full membership.
We have meetings where one of the major purposes is to enjoy each other’s company, catch up with old friends and make or develop new ones. But it surprising how many projects develop at social meetings – we call it “where conversations turn into actions”.
If you are interested in becoming a Friend of the Rotary Club of Deloraine, use one of the contact options listed above to discuss or obtain more information.
