The Tasmanian Craft Fair is Australia’s premier arts and crafts event and will be held during the weekend of October 29-November 1, 2010. Spread over 13 different venues in the picturesque township of Deloraine in northern Tasmania, in excess of 220 exhibitors will display their finest wares and share their techniques in this annual event.

This year will see the introduction of Gourmet Festival, focussing on hand-made products, demonstrations and tastings, including fine food, Tasmanian wines and Tasmanian micro brewers.

Also experience the delights of the Gourmet Pantry - clean, green Tasmanian cuisine including raspberry and blueberry products, honey, chocolates and fudges, cheeses and wines, gourmet mustards, jams and sauces.

There will be an art glass exhibition from China, Japan and South Korea as well as a quilt exhibition from New Zealand focussing on the world renown Hoffmann Challenge.

And for the keen gardeners, the specialist plant exhibition at the Showgrounds venue will be expanded.

Enjoy live music, street entertainment and activities for the children at the special Kids World - and even pull in a live trout!

The Tasmanian Craft Fair is an annual event and this is its 30th year.  It is run by the Rotary Club of Deloraine with all proceeds being used for local, national and international projects - try the Meander River walk and use the 2 pedestrian bridges given to the town by Rotary.
