LEARN TO SWIM PROGRAMME

THE NEXT PROGRAMME WILL BE HELD IN EARLY JANUARY 2011

- updates will be provided on this web site when available

REGISTRATION will take place in the week prior at the Deloraine Public Pool

Morning Sessions will run from 10am to 12.15pm

Afternoon Sessions will run from 12.45pm to 3.45pm

THIS IS A FREE PROGRAMME OF THE ROTARY CLUB OF DELORAINE

The Rotary Club of Deloraine has been running this programme for over 26 years as a free community service for the children of the Deloraine and district areas.

It is aimed at those children who cannot swim with the ability to save themselves and/or others.

Children under the age of 5 will not be enrolled.

Children will be graded according to ability, not Family Group. It is hoped that children will be encouraged to work towards a swimming goal and so improve from year to year.

It is advisable for Parents/Guardians to purchase Rash Vests. Boys need to wear a proper bathing costume, not shorts to the knee.

Sessions will run from 10am to 4pm with each class consisting of a 30 minute lesson. Qualified instructors have been employed to run these classes.

If you require any further information please contact our Learn to Swim Co-ordinator, Annette Viney on 6362 3464 or 0412 437 427 or Gayle Gerrard on 6362 3035 or
